How to Reach:

By Air: Bagdogra Airport is the nearest airport to Mairung Gaon located around 99 km away. Bagdogra Airport is well connected with Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Guwahati by regular flight services. From Bagdogra Airport tourists will get vehicles on reserved basis (the most preferable) to reach Maigung Gaon. For shared vehicles there are two different routes. One is From Bagdogra – KalimpongAlgarahMairung Gaon. Another route is from Bagdogra – LavaAlgarahMairung Gaon.

By Train: There are two different railway stations connecting Mairung Gaon. The nearest one is New Mal Junction located around 77.8 km away via NH 717A. The second nearest railway head to Mairung Gaon is New Jalpaiguri (NJP railway station) located around 95 km away. Though New Mal Junction is the most nearest to Mairung Gaon, but it is connected with limited train services with rest of India. NJP railway station is well connected with good railway networks with other major cities of India. Both from New Mal Junction and NJP railway station tourists will get reserved vehicles to reach Mairung Gaon.

By Road: Mairung Gaon is well connected with Bagdogara, Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri, New Mal Junction and other nearby tourist spots by good motor-able roads. Tourists are advised to avail reserved vehicles to reach Mairung Gaon from wherever they are coming. For shared vehicles tourists need to change the vehicles two to three times to reach Mairung Gaon.
