Changey Falls (also known as Changey Waterfalls) is a beautiful waterfall in Kolakham village of Kalimpong sub – division of Kalimpong district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Changey Falls is located at a distance of 05 km away from Kolakham village and 14 km away from Lava. Changey Falls is set at elevation of 2200 meter (7218 feet). Changey Falls is a three step waterfall situated between Tiffin Dara and Ghanti Dara viewpoints (Dara means viewpoints). Changey Falls is cascading from a height of 150 feet down the rugged cliffs while breaking into millions of droplets and creating a cloud of mist which is truly enchanting. Changey Falls is regarded as the highest altitude waterfall of North Bengal including both Darjeeling and Kalimpong district. At the end of the waterfall a small pond is created naturally with crystal clear water which is capable of bathing. Changey Falls has added an extra charm to the beautiful villages and hamlets located nearby. Apart from that Changey Falls is one of the popular and worth visiting tourist spot in and around the region. Changey Falls is surrounded by lush green forests and thick natural vegetation all over. From Bagdogra Airport tourists will get hired vehicles to reach Changey Falls.

By Train: New Mal Junction is the nearest rail head to Changey Falls located at a distance of 68 km away via Gorubathan, Lava and Kolakham. The second nearest rail head to Changey Falls is New Jalpaiguri railway station (NJP) located at a distance of 118 km away via Kolakham. NJP railway station is well connected by regular train services with Kolkata and other major cities of India. But New Mal Junction is connected by less number of train services with Kolkata in comparison to NJP. From both the railway stations one will get hired vehicle services to reach Changey Falls.

By Road: Though Changey Falls can easily be reached from the nearby spots like Kolakham, Lava, Rishyap and other nearby hamlets by vehicles. But vehicles will only reach upto a certain point and from there one need to trek down 900 feet by the walking trail to reach near Changey Falls.
