How to reach:

By Air: Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar is the nearest airport to Bagda Beach located at 240 km away. Bhubaneshwar Airport is well connected by regular flights with Kolkata and other major cities of India. From Bhubaneshwar Airport via NH 16 and NH 316A tourists can reach Bagda Beach. From Bhubaneshwar Airport tourists can either book a cab to visit Bagda Beach. Or one can also reach Balasore from Bhubaneshwar Airport and from there tourists can reach Bagda Beach.

By Train: Balasore Railway Station is the nearest rail head to Bagda Beach located at 34 km away. Balasore railway station is well connected by regular railway networks with Kolkata and other major cities of India. From Balasore railway station tourists can either book a local vehicle or hire a cab and reach Bagda Beach.

By Road: Bagda Beach is well connected by good roadway network with Kolkata (270 km) and other nearby tourist places. Both from Kolkata and Bhubaneshwar Airport it takes about 4.5 to 05 hours to reach Bagda Beach by road. From Balasore railway station or Balasore bus stand by road it takes about 01 hour to reach Bagda Beach. The route to Bagda Beach from Balasore is via Haldipada on NH16, Solapata and Hanuman Chhak.

Best time to visit:
Though Bagda Beach can be visited throughout the year, but it is best to visit from October to March. For adventure enthusiasts monsoon (July to September) can also be an ideal time. During the months of October to March tourists can enjoy maximum beach activities and explore the whole region of Bagda Beach.
